Jude Medical has launched its wireless USB adaptor for the Merlin@Home transmitter, a patient home monitoring system that examines patients with implantable cardiac devices remotely. According to St. Paul, Minn.-based St. Jude, the device provides an alternative method for patient data to be transmitted that uses cellular networks rather than a landline telephone.

Data are sent by the Merlin@home transmitter to St. Rimage software suite v 86 download mac. Jude’s Merlin.net Patient Care Network, a web application where data are stored and available for physician screening.
